Dragon and Lion dancers and drummers! (Anchorage)

Fellow Alaskans! Are you looking for a new physical activity? Do you want your resume to standout from others? Would you like to engage in cultural activities? Do you want to volunteer for your local community? How about joining us on Sundays for an hour or two starting in October as we practice lion and dragon dances for our upcoming Feb. 2026 New Year celebration? We have all the equipment and facility, just need able-bodied individuals with positive energy and a willingness to learn/teach each other. We also have 2 large drums for those individuals with musical aspirations. No prior experience required, just need a good attitude! Due to the physical demand, please be at least 13 years old. Tentatively scheduled to start our first practice on Oct. 12th at the Northwood Elementary school from 3pm to 5pm.
