My Favorite Handyman is looking for a well-rounded Handyman Technician to join our team and cover jobs in South Austin. We already serve the North area and regularly get requests in the South that we’ve been declining—now we want to bring the right person on board to handle these projects in-house. What We’re Looking For: Strong problem-solving skills and a professional, customer-friendly attitude Reliable transportation and your own set of tools Experience required in: Installing interior & exterior doors Painting (prep & finish) Carpentry (repairs & small builds) Bonus skills: Drywall repair, flooring, and tile installation $25–$35/hr depending on skill and efficiency. Who You Are: You speak English clearly and confidently—comfortable being the face of the company with customers Professional, dependable, and grounded. Interested in steady growth: this will start with occasional, sporadic jobs, with the opportunity for more consistent work as we see your proven skills and reliability. This is 1099 contract work to start, with potential to become steady, ongoing work as we grow the South Austin division.
