ABOUT THE ROLE: The Field Technician reports to the Jersey Shore Laboratory in Waretown, New Jersey. Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license as well as a clean driving record to drive to and from sampling locations using a company vehicle. The starting rate of pay is $17.00 per hour for a full-time, 30-hour workweek, Monday through Friday. WHAT YOU'LL DO: The primary responsibility of the Field Technician is the performance of water tests and sample collections at assigned locations. Testing and sample collection may include municipal wells, city water, private homes, public locations, sewer and water plants, wastewater, and pools. Employees may also set up sample composite machines for next-day sample pickup. Employees are trained in proper and compliant collection techniques as well as transport protocols to a certified laboratory. QUALIFICATIONS: No prior experience is required, but interested candidates should have experience in roles that require detailed procedures, good communication skills with clients, outdoor work, as well as meeting daily deadlines. This position is responsible for keeping publicly accessible restrooms clean, stocked, and presentable. Key responsibilities are: • The frequent sanitation of restroom urinals, sinks, toilets, stalls, floors, and the immediate area outside of public restrooms. • The sweeping of floors, changing out of trash/recycling cans, and ensuring that an overall sense of cleanliness is maintained in publicly accessible areas. • Maintaining restrooms in event venues during events and shows, as well as various other related task.

File cut edges to remove burrs and ensure safe, smooth finishes. Apply cold galvanizing compound to cut and filed areas to protect against corrosion. Assembly & Installation Support Assemble structural components using strut brackets, nuts, washers, and other hardware. Ensure assemblies meet project specifications, drawings, and quality standards. Prepare pre-assembled units for delivery to the job site. Work closely with field teams to ensure assemblies integrate seamlessly with on-site construction needs. Report material usage and inventory needs to supervisors. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training a plus. Experience with hand tools, power tools, and material handling. Familiarity with strut channel (Kindorf, Unistrut, or equivalent) systems preferred. Ability to read and interpret simple drawings or assembly diagrams. Strong attention to detail, with commitment to accuracy and safety. Physical ability to lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs.
