ShareJob description UCP of Sacramento & Northern California is seeking candidates to fill our position as a CLASP Worker. This position is responsible for the development and implementation of individualized plans of instruction to assist people to live independently in the community or in a less restrictive environment. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required. One-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Educational experience may include an Associate's Degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentages. Prefer individuals with knowledge of Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software. Must be able to use personal vehicle for transporting consumers. Current CPR and First Aid certification, current and clean California driver's license, and current automobile insurance We have part-time positions available starting at $21.00 per hour. To be eligible for hire: You MUST have reliable transportation, be able to pass a drug test, back evaluation (able to lift 50lbs), Physical, background check (DOJ/FBI) and TB test. Why work at UCP?
