We are Silver Rice, a fast-casual Japanese sushi roll group. We are expanding and looking for someone who can grow with us into a leadership role at our Lefferts Gardens location. Who We Are: Silver Rice is a Japanese-owned, counter-service sushi roll shop committed to delivering authentic Japanese flavors with a modern Brooklyn twist. Our restaurants are known for high-quality sushi rolls, chirashi bowls, and beverages in a warm, casual, and fast-paced environment. The Opportunity: We are looking for someone who wants to build a career with us. •Start by learning all FOH positions (Receiver, Packer, Expeditor). •Train and develop into a Shift Leader role. •From there, grow into Assistant Manager and eventually Store Manager. This is not just another restaurant job – it’s a long-term growth opportunity for someone motivated, reliable, and excited to take on leadership responsibility. Ideal Candidate: •Hardworking, detail-oriented, and dependable •Team player with strong communication skills •Positive attitude under pressure •Punctual and consistent with attendance •Interested in learning management and leadership skills •Previous restaurant or FOH experience is a plus Responsibilities (training & growth path): Stage 1: FOH Training--- •Train in 3 FOH positions – Receiver, Packer, and Expeditor •We will explain the requirements for each position during your interview Stage 2: Shift Leader--- •Oversee FOH operations during shift •Lead and support team members •Ensure smooth and efficient service •Must hold a valid NYC Food Protection Certificate to be promoted to Shift Leader Stage 3: Assistant Manager / Manager--- •Supervise daily operations •Manage scheduling, training, and performance •Maintain store standards and customer satisfaction Location / Work Schedule: •Store: Silver Rice Lefferts Gardens (575A Flatbush Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11225) •Schedule: At least 4 days per week, including weekends •Hours: 3:30–4:00 PM to 10:00–10:30 PM Requirements •Fluent in English •Legally authorized to work in the U.S. •Open availability (weekdays & weekends) preferred •Able to multitask in a busy environment •Commitment to long-term growth with the company Preferred Qualifications: •Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role in hospitality •Food Protection Certificate (can be obtained during FOH training, but required for Shift Leader promotion) Benefits: •Sick leave •Staff meal •Employee discounts •Holiday pay •Transportation support •After completion of training: Health, dental, and vision insurance Why Join Us?: • Competitive pay with opportunities for raises as you advance • Clear growth path from FOH → Shift Leader → Manager • Supportive, close-knit team environment • Be part of a growing, Japanese-owned restaurant group in Brooklyn To apply, please send your resume and a brief note about why you’d be a good fit for this role.
