Position Overview: Line Cook and Prep Cook Opportunity Copper Hills Golf Club is actively seeking skilled and passionate Line Cooks to join our dynamic culinary team. Key Responsibilities • Menu Execution: Prepare and cook dishes according to established recipes, portion sizes, and presentation guidelines, ensuring consistency and excellence in every plate. • Station Mastery: Execute grill, sauté, fry, and pantry stations with precision and attention to detail, adapting seamlessly to different cooking methods and menu requirements. • Sanitation & Safety: Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, strictly adhering to health and safety protocols. • Collaboration: Work in concert with chefs and servers to ensure timely order fulfillment, especially during busy service periods, fostering a spirit of cooperation and camaraderie. • Inventory Management: Assist with the management of inventory, including stock rotation, receiving deliveries, and monitoring supplies to reduce waste and maintain optimal levels. • Creativity & Adaptability: Contribute creative input for specials and events, and adapt to seasonal menu changes with enthusiasm and flexibility. Qualifications • Experience: Minimum of one year of line cook experience in a restaurant, hotel, or country club setting is preferred; a proven track record of culinary competence and dedication to quality is essential. • Food Safety: Strong working knowledge of food safety practices; a food handler’s certification is highly desirable. • Multitasking: Ability to multitask and maintain composure under pressure, ensuring that quality and speed are never compromised, even during peak hours. • Availability: Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the needs of the club. • Education: Formal culinary training or apprenticeship is a plus, but not required; willingness to learn and grow within the role is valued above all. Physical Requirements • Ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods throughout the shift. • Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds, including equipment and stock items. • Comfort working in environments with varying kitchen temperatures. Compensation Copper Hills Golf Club offers a competitive hourly wage for Line Cooks, ranging from $17- 24 per hour, based on experience and skill level.
