COOK / Grill (financial district)

Cigar Bar and Grill is looking for a professional line cook to fill the role of kitchen grill station cook. We are seeking someone talented in our industry to assist in smooth operations and running evening service from the hotline. Our ideal candidates are seasoned industry professionals with experience in casual, fine dining or high volume establishments. You will be working with our current staff to maintain an excellent product and to continue to rotate in new dishes and offer our guests a high quality dining experience. Cigar Bar and Grill is a legacy establishment that has deep roots in the San Francisco (Jackson Square) community. We retain many loyal devotees and regular repeat business. Our establishment is located in one of the oldest and most beautiful neighborhoods of the city, the old Barbary Coast. We are situated in between North Beach, Chinatown and the Downtown financial district. SKILLS / ABILITIES REQUIRED: - Work a full service hotline station - Cook meat to desired temperatures - Produce main and side dishes, sauces, marinates and salad dressings - Perform nightly service and expedite from the main line - Maintain fresh rotation of produce, meats, and ingredients - Weekly ordering of all supplies for kitchen - Clean and organize the refrigerators, dry storage and reach-ins - Keep all kitchen tools and equipment well maintained Does this sound like a good fit for you?
