Lube Tech / Porter - Join Our Growing Team (San Diego)

Job Title: Lube Technician + Porter Location: San Diego, CA Company: Bowman's College Center Garage (Family-owned & Operated) About Us: At Bowman's Garage, we take pride in offering transparent, honest, and exceptional services to our customers. As a family-owned and operated business, we value integrity, teamwork, and a positive work culture. We are currently looking for FULLTIME Lube Technician/Porter to join our team. Minimum Requirements: * Current Drivers License * Reliable transportation * Understand, write & speak English Fluently (Bilingual in Spanish a plus) * Understands computers, scanners, software programs. * Paid Training * Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm Key Responsibilities for Lube Technician/Porter: * Perform vehicle inspections and follow diagnostic procedures. * Ability to safely shuttle customers home and back to the shop, as well as picking up parts using shop car. * Communicate with Service Advisors to discuss the vehicle’s issues and possible solutions. * Maintain a clean, organized work station and contribute to shop cleanliness. * Collaborate with Service Advisors and Technicians to meet deadlines and service goals. * Will provide continued education for the right candidate free of charge. Qualifications: * Recent graduate from an accredited Automotive College or Program (a big plus, but not required) * Recent work experience, 1-2 years in the auto repair industry. * Must have own basic tools and ability to use computers/tablets to complete DVI or Digital Vehicle Inspection Reports. * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. * Strong attention to detail and time-management skills. * Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
