Proven understanding of the equipment's electrical system, engine and all of its working parts. Candidates who have the skill or knowledge of use of machinery or tools. Has own tools is great but we can supply as well out of our shop If you have a passion for working on trucks, trouble-shooting mechanical problems, or love to use your tools, this could be the job for you! Position Summary The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor oversees the day-to-day maintenance and repair needs of the Clubhouse, Athletic Facility, and Hotel. This hands-on leadership role ensures preventative maintenance programs are carried out, facilities are safe and compliant, and repair work is completed efficiently. Responsibilities - Perform and supervise maintenance tasks, repairs, and inspections throughout the Clubhouse and Athletic Facility, to include landscape. - Lead and schedule maintenance staff. - Supervise contractors and vendors. - Develop and maintain preventative maintenance schedules and records. - Respond promptly to facility emergencies. - Ensure compliance with OSHA, ADA, fire/life safety codes. - Basic understanding of electrical and plumbing repairs. - Coordinates facility purchases with accounting department; manages inventory of supplies and materials. -Assist with Club event setup, breakdown, and cleanup. Qualifications - 5+ years of maintenance experience, preferably in hospitality, clubs, or hotels. - Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. - Supervisory experience required. - Strong knowledge of maintenance and building systems. - Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. - Professional demeanor and well organized. - Flexibility for evening/weekend emergency response. - Computer skills: Outlook, Word, Excel -Attention to detail. -High school diploma or equivalent. Established set building/custom fabrication firm seeking full time builder/carpenter/installers with cabinet making experience for set building projects, trade show booths, retail build-outs/activations and events. We are seeking experienced, motivated, and team-oriented individuals. Prior experience with set building or production fabrication is highly desired. Cabinet making skills and expert carpentry skills are mandatory. Drop Works has been a leader in set/scenic fabrication in the Bay Area for over 25 years. We design, source and fabricate scenic architecture for commercial photo shoots and product testing, both on location, in our on-site rental photo studio. We also design and fabricate permanent retail displays and buildouts, retail activations and custom event installations. We operate a large fabrication shop and commercial photo studio, located in Vallejo, CA. Self-transport is required as employees sometimes are assigned to begin work at offsite locations around the Bay Area. Early mornings, possible travel, evenings, weekends, and overtime are all parts of the role. We are hiring for builders for immediate full-time employment (40 hours per week plus overtime as needed). Responsibilities include carpentry based fabrication scenic architecture and permanent retail fixtures, logistics, transport and installation of sets and scenic architectural elements, custom fabrication projects for commercial customers and private events. Strong mathematical ability also required to ensure accuracy and consistency when reading plans, measuring, fabricating and installing. • We require you to maintain consistent attendance with a strong focus on arriving to work at the assigned location, on-time, daily.
