Position Summary We are looking for a dedicated, organized Dishwasher to join our team at BoujieMana. The dishwasher’s duties include washing and cleaning tableware, pots, pans, and other cooking equipment and preparation or production areas. They will restock items, sweep and scrub floors, empty and clean trash receptacles, and other duties as needed. The dishwasher is responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly work area. This individual should be a committed, communicative team player with excellent time management skills. They should be able to prioritize tasks in a busy setting and adhere to all food safety regulations and procedures. Key Responsibilities Primary: • Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with the mission of BoujieMana • Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and other cooking equipment using dishwashers or by hand • Keep dishwasher clean and maintained, and immediately report any functional or mechanical problems to the Kitchen Manager • Monitor dishwasher water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle • Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies • Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas • Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for dining room and kitchen • Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss • Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in a clean and orderly condition • Clean food preparation and production areas as required • Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas • Clean garbage cans with water or steam • Sweep and scrub floors • Receive and store supplies • Stock supplies, such as food or utensils, in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars • Transfer supplies or equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using hand trucks • Attend all scheduled employee meetings and offers suggestions for improvement • Coordinate with, and assist, fellow employees to meet guests’ needs and support the operation of the restaurant • Fill-in for fellow employees where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations Qualifications & Skills • Previous work experience as a Dishwasher is a plus • Valid Food Handler’s Card • Attention to detail and sanitation rules • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays • Hands-on experience with industrial washing machines • Ability to follow instructions and help with various tasks, as needed • Exceptional time management skills • Strong problem-solving and communication skills • Physical ability and stamina to stand and walk for long hours Cloud Motion Hospitality/BoujieMana is an equal-opportunity employer.
