Precision Machine Shop seeking qualified Quality Control Manager. Candidates must be detail orientated with experience in ISO 9001 and aerospace requirements. A thorough knowledge of ANSI Y14.5 and the ability to inspect very complex and close tolerance parts required. The Quality Manager will coordinate DMR issues and work closely with subcontractors to resolve issues. Candidates must have great computer skills, be able to operate a Zeiss CMM and manipulate models. The Quality Control Manager will coordinate or assist with in-process and final inspections. Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a Production Worker: • Adheres to all safety guidelines in the production area and in handling of materials in the factory. • Starts assigned assembly and production machinery at beginning of shift. • Makes sure that workstation is clean and free of hazardous materials. • Cleans equipment. • Inspects assembled products to ensure they are up to quality standards. • Keeps production floor clean. • Reports issues or problems with production equipment to immediate supervisor. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Strong attention to detail. • Is able to identify problems or malfunctions with machinery and equipment. • Demonstrates analytical thinking and problem-solving skills necessary to troubleshoot production issues. • Is familiar with all factory safety procedures and guidelines. • Works efficiently and manages time effectively. • Possesses physical strength and stamina required to stand, walk, and lift (up to and including 50 lbs.) for long periods of time. Education and Experience: • High school diploma or GED is preferred. • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment or warehouse setting is recommended. Work Environment: • Standard 40-hour workweek applies.
