The Millwright is responsible for the maintenance and repair of various heavy equipment, machinery and trucks. The right candidate will have the ability to trouble shoot and repair basic to complex systems, as well as experience with basic welding repairs.  The primary duties are to complete all general maintenance and repair work as directed by the Team Leader or Manager. Basic welding repairs; should have knowledge of arc, wire and cutting techniques. Troubleshoot, install, align, dismantle, repair and maintain industrial machinery and mechanical equipment for improved reliability and uptime. Perform periodic maintenance routines to identify and correct mechanical defects before they fail. Maintain operations equipment to achieve optimal performance levels. Work with operations associates to identify and prioritize maintenance needs. Adhere to all safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures and actively participate in safety program. Eight (8) to ten (10) hour workdays. Bending, stooping, walking, climbing, rough terrain and lifting (50 lbs or less). • You will be exposed to construction jobsite conditions which require people to hear and understand emergency action signals from other individuals and from emergency systems. NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Performs other duties as assigned by Senior Management. EDUCATION/SKILLS REQUIRED: • A high school diploma or GED. • Must have a current and valid driver’s license. • Must have management and planning capabilities. • The position requires good communication skills including email and basic computer skills DESIRED: • OSHA 10 Hour Certification. • Forklift Certification. • Scaffold Certification. • Rigging Certification.
