We are looking to hire an experienced Lead Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Eugene. This is a full-time, year-round position with steady work in a largely indoor heated shop. We are looking for a skilled professional who takes pride in their trade and wants to be valued for their expertise.Lead the maintenance and repair of a diverse fleet (diesel trucks, heavy equipment, light-duty vehicles, and trailers). Diagnose and repair diesel, mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.Work with operations staff to ensure equipment reliability. Mentor junior mechanics and be the go-to expert in the shop. 5–10 years of professional mechanic experience with a focus on diesel engines and heavy equipment or truck repair. Strong troubleshooting and repair skills across diesel, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Prior experience mentoring or coordinating with other mechanics is preferred. Commitment to safety, reliability, and high-quality workmanship. Prefer Class A CDL but not required. Year-round stability with no seasonal gaps.
