D Z Strad Violin Shop is looking for someone to set up and repair stringed instruments and maintain shop instruments. We specialize in the sale and rental of string instruments with a focus on violins, violas, cellos, and double basses. The ideal candidate we are looking for will have a working knowledge of these instruments, great attention to detail, and a great work ethic. This is a full-time position that will require a 4 to 5-day commitment at the shop. If you are good with your hands, have a passion for stringed instruments, and/or have woodworking experience, please contact us. Requirements: - Good understanding of violin, viola, cello, and/or double bass - Detail oriented with woodwork experience - Ability to meet tight deadlines - Basic ability to play the violin, cello, viola, or double bass You will also be responsible for the inventory and maintenance of tools and strings. Tools must be kept in good working condition.
