This role is crucial to maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for employees and the public, following strict health and safety guidelines. Key Responsibilities: Daily Mid-Day Duties: Clean and disinfect all high-touch surfaces (e.g., handrails, doorknobs, light switches, restroom fixtures, break room appliances). Use appropriate cleaners and disinfectants per surface type; follow product label instructions. Allow disinfectants to air dry for effectiveness. Bi-Weekly Tasks: Apply and buff floor finish on hard, resilient, and LVT floors. Ensure proper drying between coats. Quarterly Tasks: Dust and clean blinds, vents, light fixtures, and ceiling tiles. Clean vinyl chairs, wood panels, and railings. Power scrub and seal grout and tile in restrooms. Strip, rinse, and seal hard floors in applicable rooms. Qualifications: Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred. Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and disinfectant use. Ability to follow safety procedures and cleaning protocols.
