




Mama Luigi's is seeking a friendly, organized, and professional hostess/host to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, the hostess plays a critical role in ensuring a positive dining experience by managing reservations, greeting guests, and coordinating seating arrangements. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a warm personality, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Manage Reservations: Handle reservation bookings and cancellations via phone, email, or in person. Seating Coordination: Assign tables to guests based on availability, guest preferences, and server rotations. Waiting List Management: Maintain an organized waiting list during peak hours and provide accurate wait time estimates. Communication: Effectively communicate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations. Customer Service: Address guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests promptly and courteously. Menu Presentation: Present and explain menu items, daily specials, and promotions to guests. Cleanliness: Ensure the host/hostess station and entrance area are clean and welcoming at all times. Other Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned by the management. Qualifications: Experience: Previous experience as a hostess or in a customer service role is preferred. Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure. Basic knowledge of reservation and seating management systems is a plus. Appearance: Professional appearance and demeanor. Availability: Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
