Assistant Program Coordinator (Corvallis)

We're a campaign trying to put a progress, anti-war, Medicare for All candidate from Champaign-Urbana on the ballot next year for Congress. We need to collect 5,000 signatures before November 2 to get on the ballot. We're looking to hire petition circulators to collect signatures from registered voters in Illinois. We are willing to pay $2/signature for the first 500 signatures, at which point we will verify collected signatures. This will first begin with an in-person or video interview. Please do not apply if you intend to simply forge signatures. We will be verifying each petition with the same verification software used by the State Board of Elections, and will be able to immediately verify whether signatures are valid. She is a friendly, charming woman that likes to access the community. She is eager to work with a “Personal Assistant” who will value time spent in the community as well as downtime in the home. Together, you will enjoy shopping at Walmart, getting coffee, and going out to her favorite lunch spots. You will also work together on household chores, cooking, attending medical appointments, and running errands. She needs substantial assistance with showering, dressing, taking medications, shopping and cooking, physical therapy, and using adaptive equipment. You'll work two shifts per week totaling 42 hours: 8pm on Monday to 5pm on Tuesday and 4pm on Wednesday to 1pm on Thursday.. *You’ll also work your regular hours on Agency holidays.
