Plant People Northwest is a small, sustainable landscaping company. Our service area includes North Seattle, Shoreline, Lake Forest Park, and Magnolia. We seek an experienced gardener/ horticulture grad to join our year-round crew. We’re accepting applications for part time (minimum 3 days/week) and full time. Our schedule is from 8-4, Monday through Friday (no weekends). This is a year-round position. Your daily work will include weeding, mulching, planting, pruning, fertilizing and more. You’ll also assist on installation projects from time to time. We generally do not mow lawns, except as a special favor to a client. We maintain our gardens without the use of toxic chemicals, with a focus on soil health and "right plant, right place". Our business prepares approx 3000 tax returns each calendar year. We are seeking up to five candidates to be employed as tax preparers for the upcoming tax season. Employment will extend from mid January to mid April. Full training is provided and is compulsory to be eligible for employment. Hours of employment will vary between 10-7 weekdays and 10-6 weekends. Part time hours are minimum 15 hours per week. Full time hours are 40 hours plus overtime if necessary per week. This is a seasonal position which will end April 15 2026. Ideal candidates will be good with computers and accurate keyboard and ten key use; friendly with clients and other staff; dress appropriately (business casual); punctual for shifts; have own transport; speak fluent English; have some previous office experience.
