Submit daily updates, photos, and metrics via company apps/software. Communicate progress and issues to the owner in real-time. Handle prep work: sanding, masking, caulking, patching. Perform painting: cutting, rolling, spraying. Set up, operate, and maintain sprayers (airless; HVLP a plus). Power wash, scrape, or repair surfaces as needed. Ensure jobsites are safe, organized, and spotless at the end of each day. Train helpers and delegate tasks to maximize efficiency. Provide daily client updates on progress and next steps. Maintain equipment and supplies (brushes, sprayers, ladders) in good condition. Ensure the team has supplies needed at all times — designate a helper for runs or go themselves if necessary. Resolve problems on site or escalate quickly to avoid downtime. Hold crew accountable for productivity and quality standards. Complete jobs on schedule and to company expectations. Requirements 5+ years painting experience (residential interiors/exteriors). Prior foreman or crew leader experience strongly preferred. Must be willing to carry ladders, power wash, spray, and do what it takes. Must know how to use and maintain sprayers (airless required; HVLP a plus). Must be comfortable with smartphones, apps, and reporting software. Driver’s license and reliable transportation. Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders/scaffolding when needed. This is not assembly line work. Applicants must be able to set up woodworking machinery, and work independently. I also build fine furniture, specialty millwork, and install many of my projects. We are looking for qualified cabinet installers for a hotel project in Algona. This is a temporary position. The work is basic and straightforward. It is production work as most units are the same, small galley kitchenettes. There are stone tops that need to be dropped on top of the cabinets with no cutting involved, Just drop and stick. The vanities come as knock down frames that mount to the wall with small cubby cabinets below. The vanity tops will likely need to be cut to length before installation. There are other items that need installing as well, like bath accessories, window sills, door frames and hardware. The more experience the better.
