Job Duties include but are not limited to: • Engine diagnostics and troubleshooting • Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems, including the engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, and more • Perform engine diagnostics and troubleshooting to ensure optimal engine performance • Tune automotive engines for optimal performance • Communicate with the Shop Foreman about necessary repairs and provide time estimates Qualifications: • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Automotive Technician/Mechanic, with a focus on performance tuning and diagnostics • Proficient in operating Dynapack and other chassis dynamometers for performance testing and tuning • Knowledgeable in electronic fuel injection system development, diagnosis, and troubleshooting • Experience with basic internal engine repair, rebuilds, and setup procedures • Expertise in turbocharger, wastegate, and intercooler system development and tuning • Strong electrical experience, including working with automotive electrical systems and wiring • Basic computer and internet skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Available to work full-time (40 hours per week, Monday–Friday), with willingness to work overtime when needed Preferred: • Strong expertise in MoTeC and other engine management system tuning and calibration for high-performance and exotic vehicles • Experience working on Porsche vehicles, including performance upgrades and system tuning Our Benefits Include: • Medical, Dental, and Vision • Paid Vacation • 401K Job Title: Tuning Technician Job Type: Full-time Compensation: starts at $35/hour BOE This is a non-exempt, hourly position. Camera Technician Brooklyn Film Camera is looking for a detail-oriented Camera Technician to join our Camera Department. We restore, repair, and maintain 35mm and 120mm film cameras for analog photographers around the world. The role is hands-on and collaborative, ideal for someone with technical aptitude and a genuine love of film photography. You will work alongside experienced technicians on customer repairs and in-house inventory while continuing to build your skills in a supportive, specialized environment. Skills Intermediate knowledge of camera servicing, preferably analog. Strong attention to detail across new and repetitive tasks. Comfort with hand tools, including bit driver sizes and improvising tools or parts for bespoke tasks. Working knowledge of electrical systems, including inspection, testing, and troubleshooting, and familiarity with the corresponding tools.
