The ideal candidate has significant experience on both grill and fry stations, understands the nuances of cooking seafood perfectly, and thrives in a busy environment. 🍳 Key Responsibilities: Expertly grill, broil, and fry a wide variety of seafood and other menu items to exact specifications. Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency for every dish that leaves the kitchen. Manage ticket times efficiently to ensure a smooth and steady flow of service, especially during peak hours. Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked work station (mise en place). Strictly adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and restaurant policies. Collaborate effectively with fellow kitchen staff and front-of-house team members to create a positive dining experience for our guests. Assist with inventory tracking for your station and communicate ordering needs to management. Qualifications: Minimum 3-5 years of professional cooking experience in a high-volume restaurant. Proven expertise with commercial grills and deep fryers is essential; specific experience with seafood is highly preferred. Deep understanding of proper cooking temperatures, food safety protocols, and sanitation practices. Ability to work effectively under pressure, multitask, and maintain a calm and professional demeanor. Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic. A valid California Food Handler's Certificate is required.
