Job Title: Event Catering Cook / Chef (Part-Time, Weekends) Location: Everett, WA Compensation: $25–$30/hr (DOE) Schedule: Part-Time, Weekends – Immediate Need Join Our Culinary Team at The Monte! We are currently seeking a talented part-time cook or chef to support our in-house catering team for weekend events. This is a hands-on role focused on executing high-quality food service for private events, weddings, parties, and corporate functions serving up to 250 guests. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow into a full-time culinary leadership position — including the opportunity to become Executive Chef for our upcoming full-service restaurant and lounge, set to open in 2026. Key Responsibilities: * Prepare and execute event catering menus with attention to presentation, quality, and timing * Work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced kitchen environment * Assist with food prep, buffet setup, and plated service as needed * Maintain kitchen cleanliness and uphold food safety standards * Support post-event breakdown and clean-up duties * Occasionally assist in menu planning or prep for restaurant service testing Requirements: * Minimum 2–3 years professional cooking or catering experience * Weekend availability (Friday evening through Sunday as needed) * Ability to lift 40+ lbs and work on your feet for extended periods * Strong sense of organization, cleanliness, and time management * Positive attitude and a team-player mentality * Culinary degree a plus, but not required Why Work With Us?
