Description

Do you love kids? Are you interested in education and access for disabled children? Are you a current or future educator, or just someone who loves working with kids and would like some first-hand experience with an amazing, energetic, intelligent and determined kiddo (9) who happens to be autistic and nonspeaking? While experience with non speakers may be helpful, it is not a pre-requisite. Most importantly, you are fun, extremely patient, creative, curious and willing to learn. This is definitely a role where there will be a lot of on the job learning! Weekly time commitment may be just a few hours and up to 15 hours per week to start, so this might be just the thing for someone looking for extra work after a school day or on the occasional weeknight or weekend afternoon or evening.
