WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Deeply understand the needs of our student, teacher, and parent users, and advocate for user experience throughout all phases of product development Deeply understand IXL’s product philosophy and strategy to make feature design and development decisions Gather context and clarify goals for new projects Write and communicate product requirements, conduct product reviews Collaborate with visual designers to co-create effective, engaging product experiences Partner with your engineering team to align technical designs with product needs and to clear implementation roadblocks Collaborate with marketing to ensure successful product launches, including crafting product positioning and messaging Coordinate with teams and leads across functions to share information, seek input, and provide clarity on product and project statuses Juggle multiple, often competing priorities and projects Forge strong partnerships with your product lead, designers, engineers, product marketers, and other key stakeholders to ensure the success of your products Become an expert on the IXL product, and gain domain knowledge in the education space broadly Do whatever it takes to develop features and deliver value to our users WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Bachelor’s degree in STEM or a related field Deeply understand IXL’s product philosophy and strategy to make feature design and development decisions 1-3 years of experience in product management or adjacent roles Demonstrated technical abilities; some computer science coursework or programming experience is preferred Highly developed analytical-reasoning and problem-solving skills, with proven success applying them independently Strong written and spoken communication skills, with an eye to clarity and conciseness Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work across teams to make things happen Enthusiasm for tackling tough problems independently, from assessing high-level goals through to perfecting every details Exceptionally organized self-starter, efficient and thrives under pressure Interest in design thinking; some coursework or experience in UI/UX design is helpful Interest in K-12 education! Classroom/teaching experience is a plus Growth mindset; you’re excited by challenges and you possess a can-do attitude Curiosity, open-mindedness, and an unfailingly positive attitude Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The base salary range for this full-time position is $105,000 - $140,000 + equity + benefits. Essel is looking for a motivated and skilled Civil Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to civil engineering project design and development. You will engage in site assessments, prepare engineering calculations, and create detailed design drawings to support a wide range of projects. Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced SAP Security Engineer to support the design and implementation of security protocols for an enterprise-wide SAP Transportation Management System (TMS) capital project. The engineer will also remain onboard post-implementation for long-term support and maintenance. This role is critical for ensuring that SAP ECC and TMS systems remain compliant, secure, and optimized for secure business operations in accordance with SOX and internal IT controls. Candidates needs to have: 6+ years of experience in SAP Security Design, Implementation, and Administration in SAP ECC and related modules. Hands-on experience with SAP TMS (Transportation Management System) security configurations and integrations. Strong expertise in authorization concepts, SoD conflict resolution, and SAP user access troubleshooting. In-depth knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance, security controls, and audit practices. Proficiency in authorization reporting tools, transaction analysis, and change management practices. Experience with incident management systems, forensic tools, and scripting languages for automation (PowerShell, Python, etc.). Familiarity with SAP GRC Access Control is a strong plus. Job Description: Lead the design, implementation, and administration of SAP Security roles and authorizations across SAP ECC and SAP TMS environments. Collaborate with project and technical teams to establish secure role-based access controls (RBAC), compliant with segregation of duties (SoD) policies. Provide production support for SAP ECC and TMS Security issues, ensuring timely resolution of access incidents and change requests. Develop, implement, and maintain authorization concepts, role design standards, and security policies. Support internal and external audit and compliance efforts related to SOX and other regulatory frameworks. Configure and maintain firewalls, encryption, and access control systems as part of SAP ecosystem security. Perform risk assessments, vulnerability testing, and impact analysis for SAP security changes and potential security threats. Develop automation scripts to manage and monitor access controls, user provisioning, and incident tracking. Manage incident response related to SAP security breaches, and support forensic investigations when required. Train and support technical teams and end users on SAP security awareness and compliance policies. Design and test disaster recovery and backup procedures for SAP security systems and related infrastructure.
