Responsibilities: Prepare and bake pastries, cookies, cakes, and specialty desserts to Confections of a Rockstar standards. Assist with cake prep, fillings, frostings, and finishing work for catering and retail orders. Maintain consistency, accuracy, and attention to detail in all recipes and products. Manage baking schedules to meet daily shop needs and custom catering deadlines. Operate and care for bakery equipment (mixers, ovens, proofers, sheeters, etc.). Ensure all products meet food safety and sanitation guidelines. Collaborate with the team on new menu ideas, seasonal specials, and custom creations. Keep work areas clean, organized, and stocked. Qualifications 1–3 years of professional baking experience preferred (pastry, bread, or cake decorating experience a plus). Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredient functions, and kitchen safety. Ability to follow recipes and also adapt creatively when needed. Excellent time management and ability to work under pressure. Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays. Team player with a positive, dependable, and hardworking attitude. You will fill in other areas if needed on emergency basis. • Feel comfortable working on ladders. • Have a knack for mechanical work and using tools (fixing drywall is a plus!).
