Under general supervision of the Operations Manager/Project Manager, Field Technician will repair foundations and apply epoxy, waterproofing, sealant, or other liquid products both on horizontal and vertical concrete surfaces. Build, train, supervise and mentor front line field employees to engage them in a fast paced, productive, and fun work environment. Field Technician will apply their skills as necessary to perform quality work on time and at or under budget. Duties and Responsibilities • Construction Industry experience is preferred. • Knowledge of foundation repair and applying surface coatings is preferred • Experience in grinding concrete, cutting concrete, and breaking concrete a plus. • Install epoxies and other liquid products on foundation walls, floors, and other larger flat surfaces. • Climb ladders, dig using hand tools and mini excavator, and haul material. • Painting, paint prep including sanding, caulking, and priming. • Work in confined areas such as crawl spaces. • Operate paint pumps. • Basic carpentry for forms and finishing. • Communicate with the Project Manager on progress at the job site. • Keep clean and organized job sites. • Maintain good working relationships with all company employees. Safety and Requirements • Keep all job sites clean and in order. • Operate tools and equipment according to established safety procedures. • Valid State issued driver’s license and use of vehicle to arrive at office. The position's primary responsibility will be to oversee commercial interior and exterior remodel projects from pre-construction phase through to final completion. The projects are commercial retail stores located throughout the San Diego Area. This position will require a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, depending on the needs of the project. Requirements and responsibilities include, (but are not limited to): -Oversee project site construction work. -Assist in construction work whenever needed. -Maintain tight construction schedules. -Ensure a high level of quality control is maintained. -Maintain security and safety protocols. -Must be able to coordinate and update the Project Manager on a daily basis. -Must have good verbal and electronic communication and record keeping skills. -Must be proficient in the ability to read drawings and associated construction documents.
