Entry-Level Groundsman – Tree Service

JOB SUMMARY: The Apartment Maintenance Porter is responsible for providing excellent resident service through daily maintenance projects as assigned by the direct supervisor. Punctuality, professionalism, and strong customer-service skills are also needed to support the initiatives of this position. This person must have a car to travel between properties within a 3-mile radius ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Establish working relationships with supervisors (PM or Maintenance), residents, and vendors. 2. Maintain building lighting, including light fixture and bulbs. 3. Maintain the maintenance shops in a clean and orderly fashion 4. Meet vendors and provide apartment access 5. Pick up materials at Home Depot as directed by your supervisor. Customer Service/Safety: 1. Adhere to safety protocols when completing maintenance tickets to ensure the safety of yourself and residents. 2. Provides timely communication maintenance concerns or trouble tickets with Property Manager Minimum Experience/Training Education: • High School diploma or GED • Valid driver’s license • Must have a reliable vehicle for travel between assigned locations • Two years of relevant experience preferred ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: •. Dependable, on-time, and good time management skills • General maintenance engineer experience. • Reliable Vehicle. • Legal to work in the United States. SCHEDULE: This is a full-time position. The schedule will require 40 hours per week. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Occasionally requires lifting 50 pounds or less.

Four Seasons Tree Care is hiring full-time climbers with experience in the tree care industry. We offer overtime (over 40 hours per week), bonuses, training, and provide all necessary equipment. The climber is responsible for performing specialized tree climbing and pruning tasks, removing trees and stumping efficiently, safely and systematically for both residential and commercial properties. Additional qualifications include the following skills and the ability to demonstrate them competently: Knowledge of knots for tree climbing, safe operation and maintenance of chainsaws, experience using wood chippers, stump grinders, pruning poles, ropes, harnesses, gasoline-powered machinery, cabling or bracing, and use of truck-mounted lift platforms to reach specific branches. Opportunity exists to grow into a foreman/team leader role. General Requirements: • Must have a minimum of two (2) years of climbing experience • Legal authorization to work in the United States • Must pass a drug screening upon job offer and be subject to periodic and random testing • Semi-skilled in mechanics of basic electrical tools and equipment • Competent in tree climbing using rope and saddle method and proper ground work • Knowledge and ability to tie basic knots including, but not limited to: bowline, Blake’s hitch, and nail knots • Knowledge and ability to use descent techniques and devices related to tree work
