Description

At Friedmans inside the iconic Edison Hotel, we pride ourselves on being a team-focused, fast-paced restaurant in the heart of Times Square. Our staff is knowledgeable, kind, and dedicated to creating a welcoming experience for every guest. We take allergy protocols seriously and are proud to serve our guests with the highest standards of care and hospitality. As Gluten-Free Pioneers, we offer a menu that caters to those who are gluten intolerant or have Celiac disease. Our team is well-trained to guide guests through safe and delicious options. We are currently hiring for two key front-of-house positions: HOST POSITION We are seeking a personable, organized, and composed host to join our team. Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Our hosts are the face of Friedmans and play a critical role in the guest experience. The role goes beyond greeting guests — our hosts also handle delivery orders and must be able to multitask efficiently between two entrances. What We’re Looking For: --Friendly, guest-first attitude. --Strong organizational skills. --Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure. --Multitasking between guest check-ins, walk-ins, and delivery platforms. --Open to working day and night shifts. --Willingness to work a handful of holidays (we are open year-round). AM SERVER (BREAKFAST & LUNCH) Our team of servers truly work together to create a warm, welcoming environment for every guest. They take the time to ensure each person is cared for individually—asking about allergies, anticipating needs, and providing thoughtful service. While we’re a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant, our servers are far from order-takers; they offer guests a genuine breath of fresh air in the heart of Times Square. We feature a large, diverse menu specializing in gluten-free cuisine and are dedicated to creating a positive experience for both guests and staff. What we are looking for: --Full morning availability, including weekends and holidays. --On time, presentable, and ready to hustle when the doors open. --Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. --Shifts average 9 hours. --Must be kind, warm, and a true team player — our servers take pride in genuine hospitality and a supportive culture. --This is a fully pooled house. Please submit your resume to friedmans47th@friedmansnyc.com or respond to this ad. We look forward to hearing from you.
