Our Line Cooks are vital members of our kitchen team, responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations. This role requires a passion for food, strong teamwork abilities, and attention to detail that celebrate the flavors of Hawaii. Key Responsibilities • Prepare and cook menu items according to Roy’s recipes and presentation standards • Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet restaurant expectations • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines • Assist with prep work, stock rotation, and ingredient organization • Work efficiently in a team environment, supporting fellow kitchen staff • Communicate effectively with the kitchen team and front-of-house staff • Perform other duties as assigned by the Chef Qualifications • Previous experience as a Line Cook in a high-volume or fine-dining restaurant preferred • Knowledge of cooking techniques, knife skills, and kitchen equipment • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong attention to detail • Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic • Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Only a team that works hard together and shares our passion can deliver this experience at the level that defines the excitement of Eating House 1849 by Roy Yamaguchi.
