Line Cook (Evening) (Sacramento)

Line Cook position available for experienced applicants with at least one (1) year of line cook experience in a high volume, full-service restaurant. Applicants must work well with others, as well as independently. They must also be responsible, honest, and professional with an attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential. Only serious long-term applicants should apply. Requirements: - Proven cooking experience; minimum of one (1) year line cook and baking experience - Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, baking, ingredients, equipment (including flat top griddles, fryers, etc.) and procedures - Comply with all nutrition and sanitation regulations, safety standards, food handling procedures and food holding temperatures - Flexible schedule; must be available to work daytime, evenings, weekends and holidays - Reliable transportation - Ability to report to work on time for every shift - Able to reach, bend, stoop and regularly lift up to 50lbs - Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods of time - Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks - Current Food Handlers certification Compensation: $17.50-$19.50 DOE - tips; retirement benefits; employee meals; paid sick leave; medical and paid vacation benefits are available for eligible full-time employees Hours: Must be available to work a combination of days, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
