Job Responsibilities Typical duties include: Diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, drivetrains, hydraulics, emissions systems, and electrical systems. Performing preventive maintenance (PM) on entire fleets. Using diagnostic software and tools. Maintaining DOT and OSHA compliance. Leading or mentoring junior mechanics. Coordinating with fleet managers for scheduling and downtime reduction.
