Interested in an easy, fun & rewarding job? $22.00/hr Flexible schedule/hours PT/FT job, back-up/prn position Call Richard W @ 203-300-9990 (Text and/or leave message) ** Companion Responsibilities ** The companion will provide emotional support for client as they heal or cope with their conditions, disabilities, aging, and sickness They will take care of housekeeping, prepare meals, remind clients to take medication, help clients engage in physical, mental activities and social events, and perform other tasks as directed. Driving clients to planned outings, appointments or events. Handling errands for or with clients, such as grocery shopping, paying bills, writing letters, appointment scheduling. Taking a genuine interest in client by listening to their needs and help client feel safe and supported. You should have strong communication and planning skills, be willing to meet the physical demands of the position and comply with all safety, medical, and dietary directions. Monitoring clients wellness reporting any developments or concerns to appropriate parties like doctors or family members. To be a successful companion: You should be focused on providing the best possible care and support for your client. You should be patient, sympathetic, responsible, attentive, and detail-oriented putting your clients needs first! Above all, must have a good sense of humor! ** Companion Requirements ** >> Must pass a background check. >> High School Diploma or equivalent >> Fluency in the English language >> Strong communication and listening skills >> A car, valid driver’s license, insurance and clean driving record (although not required) >> Ability to handle physical demands, such as lifting or supporting clients with standing, walking, bending, or crawling for extended periods, Assist with and encourage various types of physical exercise/movement, perform simple massages (primarily neck/back/legs) >> Encourage & assist using relaxation programs/apps that incorporate meditation, mindfulness, muscle relaxation, to help cope with stress, anxiety, improve mood and stimulate the mind. >> First Aid, CPR or CNA /nursing experience is a plus (not required) >> Pre-employment in home interview w/client prior to acceptance Using your phone, you'll need to register with GTI (GT Independence) create a portal account, download an app that you'll use to clock in and out with. Paychecks are processed weekly via direct deposit or payroll card. It is a simple, straight forward, hiring process with a fair amount of paper work and document signing (via emails) However it "may" take up to 60 days before being fully approved, hired and ready to work. Depending on your desire to work, attention to detail and communication skills you could do it in half that time. (It's up to you!)

 As Porter, you will report to the Managers and work with a team of real estate professionals. Requirements 
5+ Years of experience as a Porter at residential buildings. This position requires various types of manual labor and from time to time will require standing for long periods of time, as well as crouching and climbing stairs and ladders to perform work, and pushing, lifting, and pulling heavy objects that occasionally may be up to approximately 75 pounds. At other times, this position requires completing paperwork.
