VESTRA Resources Inc. is seeking an energetic, self-motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our GIS / IT services team as a GIS Analyst. This is a full-time, 40 hours/ week, benefited position. This is not a remote position; this position will report to our office location in Redding, CA with some travel required to client sites or other GIS-related activities. Duties include a wide range of consulting work, including database design, application design, data development, cartographic mapping, software installation, user training, acceptance testing, rollout support, and technical support. Knowledge of cartographic principles and standards and demonstrated proficiency with ESRI ArcGIS and standard Microsoft Office packages are required. Qualified candidates shall possess: B.S. / B.A. in GIS, Geography, Environmental Science, Planning or related discipline with 3 or more years of GIS experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrated knowledge and skills using Esri's suite of GIS products. Experience with ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS Field Maps required. Experience with ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Portal, ArcGIS Experience Builder, and ArcGIS Survey123 a plus. Experience with ArcGIS Parcel fabric Implementation and parcel editing and updates a plus. Knowledge of applications of GIS within specific domains such as natural resources, agriculture, local and state government, or transportation preferred. Knowledge of QA/QC techniques to assess the quality, accuracy and content of spatial databases. Proficient knowledge of modeling, geoprocessing, and analysis using GIS software and datasets. Knowledge of the programming language Python highly preferred. Knowledge of programming languages, such as JavaScript or HTML5 is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a desire to interact with clients and agency staff. Excellent organizational skills and ability to thrive in a fast paced, high-pressure, challenging work environment. Day-to-day administration, monitoring, and maintenance related to routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, packet shapers, wireless systems, and circuits. Design, implement, and monitor network systems related to: Cisco network routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, WiFi systems, Circuits: WAN/MPLS, internet, replication, SIP, Network VPNs. Assure off-site disaster recovery environment is consistently available. Participate in disaster recovery testing as directed. Work with IT Security Team to select, implement, and maintain security-related systems and address related incidents/events. Conduct troubleshooting and repair tasks on network at a detailed level and by device. Identify and resolve recurring issues and mitigate reliability risks. Coordinate, plan, and/or execute multiple annual disaster recovery exercises. Adhere to established change management processes. Create and maintain operational procedures. Provide level 3 technical support and participate in team on-call rotation. Participate in capacity planning, ensuring that systems have the capacity to meet strategic business needs with few or no reliability issues. Work with 3rd-party vendors to procure hardware and software solutions, as well as addressing updates and issues after implementation. Provide assistance and mentoring to Network Infrastructure Administrators and other Network Infrastructure Engineers. Other duties may be assigned to meet ongoing business needs. Looking for an experienced technician to troubleshoot install cat 6 wiring and Telephone line tracing troubleshooting with a telephone line but set, toner probe set, small cable hand held tester and laptop experience. Experience is a must for installations, repair, troubleshooting Cat6, telephone line 66 block, and CCTV camera systems . Must have telephone line buttset experience. Installation of cameras and dvr systems commercially and trouble shooting. ALL solid and strong experience in ALL of my requirements must be 100%.
