These assignments are well-suited for veterans, retired law enforcement officers, and experienced security personnel who want to contribute their expertise on an as-needed basis. Our assignments include a wide range of protection details, such as: • Corporate security coverage in response to potential threats • Port and vessel security (TWIC credentialed positions available) • Armed and unarmed protection details TWIC Credential Positions For select assignments, candidates holding a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) may be assigned to: • Conduct identification checks of individuals boarding or exiting commercial vessels • Provide security escorts for personnel and contractors while on dockside property • Support security operations that protect our nation’s ports and maritime infrastructure against threats Compensation & Schedule • Most shifts are 12 hours, with earning potential of up to $300 per day • Candidates can expect approximately 30 shifts per year • This equates to an annual part-time income of over $9,000 for select professionals While these positions are on-call, they offer meaningful opportunities to stay active in the field and directly support critical security operations. Position summary A&A Security Group is looking for disciplined, trustworthy Unarmed Security Officers to safeguard clients and assets across a variety of sites including corporate campuses, construction sites, events, and residential communities. Primary duties Maintain a visible unarmed presence to deter theft, vandalism, trespassing, and other unlawful acts. Conduct scheduled and random patrols of assigned areas, check doors/gates, and secure premises. Operate access control points — verify IDs, log guests, and maintain visitor logs. Monitor and respond to alarm activations and suspicious activity; notify law enforcement when necessary. Write clear, timely incident reports and submit them per company procedure. Assist clients and the public with directions and basic information while maintaining security posture. Participate in regular firearms re-qualification and post orders/training. Required qualifications Must possess a valid state security guard license and an active unarmed/firearms permit for security work (state-specific).
