Yard Supervisor Role: Full-Time Employment With Benefits We are New City Moving LLC, Chicago’s largest and most acclaimed independent moving company, as well as one of the largest single independent moving branches in the United States.  We are currently accepting candidates to join our team for the Yard Supervisor position.  The yard supervisor is in charge of maintaining order amongst the three yards that we occupy. General Duties: - Making sure people are following company rules. - Ensuring the yards are kept clean and that all company property is accounted for during each shift. - More specific duties include directing material handlers - Performing check-in/check-out procedures with crews - Reporting vehicle issues to the fleet team - Assisting with material distribution - Maintaining a spreadsheet of data regarding materials This position is in frequent communication with the dispatchers, the branch fleet manager, as well as personnel at our corporate office. Position summary A&A Security Group is looking for disciplined, trustworthy Unarmed Security Officers to safeguard clients and assets across a variety of sites including corporate campuses, construction sites, events, and residential communities. The ideal candidate remains calm under pressure, enforces rules professionally, and represents our company with integrity. Primary duties Maintain a visible unarmed presence to deter theft, vandalism, trespassing, and other unlawful acts. Conduct scheduled and random patrols of assigned areas, check doors/gates, and secure premises. Operate access control points — verify IDs, log guests, and maintain visitor logs. Monitor and respond to alarm activations and suspicious activity; notify law enforcement when necessary. Write clear, timely incident reports and submit them per company procedure. Assist clients and the public with directions and basic information while maintaining security posture. Participate in regular firearms re-qualification and post orders/training. Required qualifications Must possess a valid state security guard license and an active unarmed/firearms permit for security work (state-specific).
