Manager-on-Duty (Front of House) About the Role We’re looking for a motivated and hospitality-driven Manager-on-Duty to help lead operations at our China Basin Park location. This is a hands-on leadership position ideal for someone who thrives in a high-energy environment, loves connecting with guests, and enjoys mentoring a team. You’ll work closely with the General Manager to oversee daily service, lead front-of-house operations, and uphold Fieldwork’s high standards of guest experience and professionalism. Key Responsibilities -Lead daily operations and ensure a smooth, positive service experience. -Supervise and support team members, fostering a culture of hospitality and teamwork. -Oversee opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and shift reporting. -Maintain compliance with alcohol service laws (ABC/RBS), safety standards, and health codes. -Engage directly with guests to ensure an exceptional experience every time. -Communicate effectively with the kitchen and management teams to maintain flow during service. -Serve as the on-site lead when the General Manager is off duty.
