Location: Morgan Hill, CA Employment Type: Full-time We are seeking an experienced Quality Control (QC) Inspector to join our fast-paced CNC machining and rapid prototype (RPM) team. The ideal candidate will have strong inspection skills using Zeiss CMM, Micro-Vu, and manual measuring tools, along with solid experience in CNC machining, quick-turn QC, and document control. Key Responsibilities: Inspect precision machined parts from CNC and prototype operations using: Zeiss CMM (Calypso or similar software) Micro-Vu and manual inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc.) Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) and in-process checks for quick-turn projects Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and specifications Support rapid turnaround QC for CNC machined and prototype parts Maintain accurate inspection records and ensure FAI documentation and document control compliance Collaborate with machinists, programmers, and engineers to address quality issues quickly and effectively Qualifications: Hands-on experience in CNC machining and precision part inspection Proficient with Zeiss CMM and Micro-Vu systems Strong understanding of blueprint reading, GD&T, and FAI documentation Knowledge of rapid prototype / quick-turn manufacturing environments Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under tight deadlines Minimum 5 years of QC experience in machining, aerospace, or precision manufacturing Benefits: Competitive pay based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Growth and training opportunities If you’re passionate about precision, speed, and quality, we want you on our team! 📩 Send Resume: info@utechmanufacturing.com 📱 Text: Henry Nguyen — (408) 416-6690
