Condor Electronics is hiring! Come be part of a team focused on keeping musicians making music! We are in search of a full-time Customer Service Representative. Primary responsibilities include managing customer interactions: Checking-in equipment, communicating shop repair policy, operating point-of-sale device, answering general inquiries. Other responsibilities include filing warranty claims, maintaining shop hygiene, equipment sales, organization and stocking. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with professional audio equipment, usually developed through previous work experience in recording studios, music stores, or AV installation. Strong communication skills are a must, both verbal and written. A basis in technical aspects of audio equipment and electronics strongly preferred. This person should be able to work with minimal supervision and direction - you need to be a self-starter and motivated, yet able to work as part of a team. A positive attitude and good work ethic will go far. Preference given to individuals who can demonstrate electrical and mechanical proficiency. Experience soldering, troubleshooting and repairing audio equipment not required but always appreciated. In our experience, people who have audio as a hobby perform well in this role. An interest in expanding role as jr. technician preferred - someone who can perform keyboard key repairs or replace amplifier modules in powered speakers as a starting point. Shop hours are Monday - Friday, 10AM-6PM. Full-time is preferred, but part-time may be considered for the right candidate. Part-time would be required to stick to a predetermined schedule, e.g., M-F 1PM-6PM / MTW 10AM-6PM / etc. Compensation starts at $21.50/hr, and scales with experience. This is a W-2 position and sick-time is accrued in accordance with WA state law (1 hour sick-time accrued for every 40 hours worked).
