As an Individual Focus Direct Support Professionals (DSP-IF), you will provide specialized supports designed to meet the unique needs of someone with intellectual and developmental disabilities in need of transitional supports. You will assist in the development of support plans, implementing those plans, and working with other team members to ensure their success. Your day will include helping someone achieve their dreams, fostering relationships with a person's family and friends, going out and having fun, meal planning and prep, and personal health and hygiene routines! DSPs on the Individual Focus team are committed to building strong partnerships with families and recognize the “team” is everyone who loves and supports the person, not just those at PCL. You will help someone learn through life’s great, fun, and challenging experiences and experience life to the fullest! Position Type: Full-Time Day, Swing, Night, and Weekend Shifts Available! •30 hours and above are considered full time. Qualifications: • Most positions require a valid driver's license. Donor Relations & Events Coordinator
This position reports to the Chief Advancement Officer and is part of the Office of Advancement, which works collaboratively with other APU departments and faculty to achieve organizational objectives. This position plans, organizes, and executes fundraising campaigns and events to secure financial support for APU, as well as takes the lead in working with APU alumni to foster relations and increase their financial support. Donor Relations Specialist
The Donor Relations Specialist reports to the Chief Advancement Officer (CAO) in the Office of Advancement and Sponsored Programs (OASP). This position maintains the donor database (Raiser’s Edge) for APU including daily gift entry, maintenance of constituent records, and processing of thank you acknowledgments and receipts; provides administrative and program support for events, appeals and in-kind gift solicitation of donations; supports the CAO and Office of Advancement with donor relations; coordinates donor-directed scholarships including coordinating scholarship committee meetings and communications with donors; as well as assists with scheduling of meetings, processing invoices, maintaining office supplies and overseeing mailing lists and mailings.
