Parts Department Sales/Office (Anchorage)

Busy aircraft maintenance facility hiring for detail-oriented person for parts department to join our team. The successful candidate will be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment and will provide excellent customer service for our customers and vendors. Duties include: • Creating purchase orders • Reviewing and comparing price information • Ordering, receiving and shipping parts • Managing stockroom and reconciling inventory. • Answering phone calls • Maintaining filing systems • Notifying vendors of discrepancies and tracking warranties • Assisting the accounting supervisor with billing processes. Requirements: • Strong attention to detail. • Ability to multi-task. • Willingness to learn. • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work. • Proficient in computer skills. We use a specialty database program that will be taught. Basic knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft office products including Excel a plus. • Must be able to lift 30 pounds.
