We have 3 porches, including an upstairs balcony with outdoor furniture, fan, front and back yard. We are renting the 300 sqft 1st floor ensuite bedroom fully furnished, with a large private bath. Furniture includes a full sized quality mattress and bed, linens, pillows, rugs, mirror, art, night stands, desk, and chair. Home features crown moulding and solid wood flooring throughout, with beautiful large windows, and 11' ceilings. Live in this nearly $1 million home for less than it would cost in property taxes. The home is in the Freret neighborhood, with convenient access to over 20 restaurants, shops, bars, and clubs; as well as a new Rouses grocery store. Close to Audubon park, Magazine St, St Charles, Tulane and Loyola Universities. Extremely walkable - a car is not necessary. The owners are a self-employed couple and travel frequently, we have a room in the home though our primary residence is out of state. You would share the home with 2 full time, long term housemates, both males who are working outside the home. We prefer a quiet, clean, organized, and peaceful environment. Low-key gatherings and guests are ok, no big parties though. Month-to-month lease is available, no long term contract or onerous terms. No property manager or annoying intermediary, deal directly with the owner. Traveling workers, students & LGBT welcome. No pets or full-time work from home situation. Utilities not included. At least 660 credit (600 with increased deposit) and $1,900 monthly gross income is required to qualify. $695 refundable deposit due at lease signing.
