As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated and dedicated Entry-Level Composites Technician to join our dynamic team. Job Overview: The Entry-Level Composites Technician will primarily be responsible for laying up carbon fiber parts in our manufacturing facility. This role will offer a hands-on opportunity to work with advanced composite materials, ensuring high-quality standards in part fabrication and assembly. Key Responsibilities: • Layup carbon fiber composite materials according to engineering specifications and production schedules. • Prepare and maintain molds and tooling for part fabrication. • Conduct quality checks throughout the layup process to ensure parts meet specified tolerances and standards. • Monitory curing and executing finishing of composite parts. • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. • Document production data, including materials used, part numbers, and production times. • Work collaboratively with engineers and senior technicians to improve processes and product quality. • Assist in the maintenance and cleaning of equipment and tools. • Participate in training sessions to improve skills and knowledge of composites manufacturing techniques. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent (required). • Associates degree or certification in composites technology, materials science, or a related field is a plus. • Prior experience or internships in a composites manufacturing environment is preferred but not required. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow detailed instructions. • Strong attention to detail and quality. • Good communication and teamwork skills. • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods of time. • Safety-conscious mindset and willingness to adhere to company policies and procedures. Preferred Skills: • Familiarity with hand layup techniques and composite part fabrication. • Basic understanding of carbon fiber materials and composite manufacturing processes. • Experience with autoclave curing or vacuum bagging processes. • Knowledge of basic mechanical principles and tools. Job Summary: The primary responsibility of this position is to safely and efficiently package quality products in a manner that is consistent with HP Hood LLC standards. Shift: 8am to 4.30pm (Wednesday and Sunday off) Start pay rate: $22.74/hr. Essential Functions: Perform all tasks and functions related to operating and cleaning filling equipment. Operate and clean multiple high speed filling machines in a sanitary, efficient, and effective manner. Complete paperwork as per government regulations and HP Hood requirements. Safely operate all assigned equipment following JHA requirements. Consistently meet production quotas. Comply with all policies and guidelines outlined for production and sanitation processes. Participate in cross-training efforts to maximize departmental efficiency. Work in a cooperative manner with managers, supervisors and peers. General: Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Able to demonstrate knowledge of safety areas reviewed in the safety orientation program. Must be able to adapt to changing production schedules as necessary. Execute assigned duties with minimal supervision. Available for required overtime to support business needs and/or critical situations. Perform assigned duties satisfactorily and in a timely manner. Perform assigned duties following "Good Manufacturing Practices.” Actively participate in special teams representing the production department. Maintain a clean & safe work environment. Perform all other related duties as assigned. Qualifications, Education & Experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Reading & writing proficiency (English language) and ability to identify colors. Basic math skills. Ability to work well as part of a team. Good communication skills. Multi-tasked individual. Ability to work independently with little supervision. Forklift certification required. Physical Requirements: Ability to move at a quick pace. Frequently. Standing: Long periods (up to 8 hours).  Sitting: Rarely. Walking: Frequently. Bending, Twisting & Stretching: Occasional. Lifting: Heavy (up to 50 lbs): Occasional. Climbing:  Ladders to make connections and add packaging materials. Occasional. Pushing/Pulling: moving pallets of paper up to 200 lbs. Stock packaging materials: Occasional. Environment: Wet and dry, temperature variations from 50 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit.  Floors are wet and occasionally slippery due to product spills and the cleaning process (slip-resistant footwear is required). We are currently looking to add a few skilled carpenters to our crew in alton nh. Must have your own tools , reliable transportation, liability insurance and a good work ethic. Pay based on Experience. $20- $45 an hour. This is a full time year round position. There is work for years for the right person
