Owner Operator CDL A ($35,000 monthly)

I ask because seems like trucking has just gotten so fancy and weird. We are small, 17 trucks, been around for close to 30 years. We like to shake hands and do paper applications. We are good to people and we are a pretty laid back environment. We just had a 20 year employee retire (sad face) and need a Class A CDL driver with 2 years experience to do local work. We have manual trucks so cannot accommodate an auto restriction. If you are flexible we can offer the hours, 40+. 7 am -3 pm are pretty typical hours but we would like someone that is flexible and can go outside of this as well, it is not written in stone. We do some shuttles quite a bit, a lot of Morrison to Murfreesboro, Morrison to La Vergne, but we also do some local cartage and LTL. If you have any flatbed experience that is a plus! We take a few loads to Nashville a few times a week. No tarping! Shuttles are no touch drop and hook freight $26 per hr with a bump to $27 in 30 days $27 with HazMat and bumped to $28 in 30 days Paid days off (start in just 2 months) Paid holidays Quarterly bonuses NO MICROMANAGING! Looking for teams and solo Class A drivers for Regional flatbed positions, Drivers can take the truck home when they go home. This is an OTR role, you will be on the road for a couple weeks at a time, then return home. The more you drive, the more you make. You can be your own boss. We don't micromanage or babysit drivers, we are looking for hard working drivers that want to earn good money. We run newer trucks with new APU units, TV satellite system, Sirius XM radio, fridge, microwave and more. All of our flatbed trailers come with brand new flatbed equipment. Drivers start off at 28% of the total of loads hauled. After 6 months, the drivers pay increases to 30% of the loads we haul.
