Job Description Overview: The Local Delivery Driver is a key member of the e-commerce team. Their main responsibility is to make sure customer’s packages arrive safely, quickly, and in good condition. They do this through good time management, organizational skills, communication, and problem solving. Each shift will start at the store, logging and loading the day’s deliveries. As each delivery is made, the driver marks orders as delivered in a smartphone app. If there are any problems or questions while out on a route, the driver will either contact the store for instructions or contact the customer directly. Once deliveries are complete, the driver will return to the store and finish any remaining tasks.  Position Specific Functions: Inventory and load orders into the vehicle, using a delivery log to ensure no packages are missed.
