Central Contra Costa Sanitary District CHEMIST III Annual Salary: $128,879 - $155,918 Plus excellent benefits Central San, a progressive public utility, is seeking a Chemist III. This position is a lead role that performs advanced and highly complex laboratory analyses of wastewater, receiving waters, recycled water, and solids from wastewater collection, treatment, and disposal; serves as a laboratory subject matter expert; conducts and develops applied research projects, prepares and analyzes data, and interprets results for the development of reports and related documentation; assists in the implementation of the laboratory quality control and quality assurance program; assists in ensuring compliance with District standard operating procedures operates and maintains complex laboratory equipment; provides training and/or lead direction; and performs related duties as assigned. Education: Possession of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in chemistry, microbiology, biology, or a related field.
