We are seeking a highly organized and friendly optometric assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. Duties - Maintain front desk operations, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment. - Perform pretests on patients. - Greet and assist patients in a warm and professional manner. - Manage incoming calls. - Schedule appointments, check vision benefits and maintain an organized calendar for the office. - Dispense eye glasses and contact lenses to patients. - Process incoming and outgoing mail and packages. - Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document management using EHR software. - Help patients choose eyewear after eye exams.
