Ensure the safe and productive performance of assigned duties and responsibilities to support the manufacturing of a quality product and meet goals of the corporation. Responsibilities/Duties Inspect malfunctioning equipment, troubleshoot, diagnose and repair problems. Perform preventative maintenance, as needed, to ensure smooth operation of production lines. Examine form and texture of machine parts to detect imperfections. Inspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements. Dismantle and install machinery and parts as needed. Perform repairs and/or modifications to parts and equipment as requested by Supervisor. Complete projects as assigned. Accurately record daily activities and complete related paperwork. Adheres to and uses safe work practices, following safety rules and regulations. Reports unsafe conditions or work practices to supervisor. Maintain neat/clean work area. Routinely clean equipment and tooling used in process. Requirements:*High School/GED/4 year diploma. Machinist trade school desired.Experience:2 years. Experience in maintenance, troubleshooting and repair. Machine shop experience helpful.Other requirements:Must have own tools.
