Three Time James Beard Nominated Chef Brian Lewis and his culinary team are currently looking for a Sous Chef for the The Cottage in Westport, Connecticut. Chef Brian Lewis has been nominated as a semi-finalist for The Cottage in Westport in 2018, 2022 and most recently Finalist for 2025 for Best Chef Northeast by the James Beard Foundation. The Sous Chef serves as "Second in Command" of the kitchen: assists the Chef in supervising food quality, production and costs. Knowledge of all kitchen stations with a mentality to fill in for and/or assist cooks to ensure that the kitchen operates smoothly.
