Schedule 5:45AM-2:15PM Tuesdays and Wednesdays (with the possibility of filling other days working in a different department to become full-time) What to Expect as a Delivery Driver -Plan and complete an efficient delivery and pick-up route for the day -Load delivery vehicle with parcels scheduled for delivery -Deliver items to correct addresses -Pick up items along the scheduled route, including items to be returned, company orders, and other items as requested -Maintain basic records of truck mileage and deliveries made -Ensure that delivery vehicle receives basic service according to maintenance schedule; reports larger service needs and mechanical issues to owners -Assists in general warehouse duties when delivery route is completed- emptying trash cans, sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors, dusting and sanitizing surfaces, replenishing paper products like paper towels, tissues, and toilet paper -Performs other related duties as assigned About You -Ability to drive safely -Valid driver's license and clean driving record -Ability to plan delivery routes -Ability to maintain basic logs and records -Ability to carry out a series of instructions without constant supervision -Able to remain professional and courteous at all times -Hospitality is at the heart of everything Physical Requirements -Prolonged periods standing and walking -Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces -Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time Perenn Bakery is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
