What We’re Looking For: ✔️ 5+ years of handyman or broad skilled trades experience – you are skilled in carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing, electrical, and smart home device installation. Core Responsibilities:. Diagnose vehicle issues accurately using diagnostic tools and test drives. Perform repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, and electrical systems. Conduct routine maintenance services (oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, fluid checks, etc.). Perform safety inspections and ensure vehicles meet Autos of Chicago quality standards. Recondition pre-owned inventory to retail-ready condition. Shop & Equipment Maintenance Keep work area clean, organized, and safe at all times. Properly use and maintain dealership tools and diagnostic equipment. Report any damaged or malfunctioning equipment immediately. Teamwork & Development Work closely with service advisors, parts department, and other technicians. Assist with training junior technicians or apprentices as needed. Stay current with ongoing training, certifications, and updated repair techniques.

We do everything from bathroom remodels, to complete remodels, renovations, new construction, interior and exterior builds etc. We are seeking an all around carpenter (or 5) that would fit well on our team. We are booked out through spring and adding to our projects daily. Overtime available. Pay DOE. Experience is wanted, but not absolutely necessary.
