Maintenance Technician- experienced - needed for our St. Paul Property Management Company. Seeking ONSITE Maintenance Technicians for our property in East St. Paul and one ROVING Maintenance Technician. Our Company prides itself on OUR 4-DAY WORK WEEK - Monday through Thursday, 7am to 4:30pm with a half hour paid lunch, 100% premium paid medical-dental-life insurance, PTO-ESST-Holiday pay, and a competitive salaries [Onsite Staff from $25-29 and Roving Staff from $27-$32] and is skillset, experience, and certifications. Having a Special Boilers License and CPO Certificate are helpful but not mandatory. Applicants must have 2-years apartment maintenance experience, meet MN State compliance for background check, have a valid drivers license - dependable vehicle - valid vehicle insurance, have own hand/power tools, be willing to participate with On Call Rotation every 4-5 weeks - overtime as needed for turns, and assist other local properties that are within 20 miles of one another. We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. This role requires a strong understanding of construction practices, the ability to read schematics, and proficiency with hand tools. The Carpenter will work on various projects, including residential and commercial builds, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. We are a well established and highly regarded carpentry contractor servicing builders and remodeling contractors across the Metro for over 50 years. Framing and finishing new construction is 20% of our business. The rest is high-end remodeling. We do everything from new kitchens to new windows, to a complete remodel of office buildings or restaurants to a complete overhaul of a home, like tearing off the roof, adding a second story and replacing the roof. We do about 700 high-end remodel jobs a year. I would like to add 1-2 additional members to my framing crew, we have lots of work on the schedule and will stay busy through the winter. The ideal candidate has between 2-5 years experience in new construction or remodel framing. Must be able to show up on time with the necessary basic hand tools and tool bags, must have a good attitude and a willingness to learn as most of the work we do is not just common production framing. We also frame plenty of roofs so must be able to work comfortably at heights. Starting wage is between $22-$35 depending on experience. We typically work Mon-Fri 7:00-4:30.
